According to merriam-webster.com, a blog is:
a Web Site that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer; also : the contents of such a site.
To me, this means that my blog is my journal containing my reflections and my comments. Everything written in my blog has originated in my head and obviously made such an impact that I felt the need to get it off my chest. While this may sound unpleasant, it's something that needs to get off my chest.
I absolutely love blogging and I encourange everyone to do the same. It's such a great release and is a fantastic way to give people a perspective on something they would not normally see. However, with that being said I do not encourange people to post the words of others. It has come to my attention that my words, while I'm flattered that they've touched so many of you in drastic ways, are being displayed elsewhere as the words of others. I would just like to state that these words are my own and using them in part, or as a whole, without my express, written permission, constitutes copyright infringement and is against the law.
In other words, enjoy the postings and let them inspire and educate, but don't let them become you. They are me and portrayal of oneself as me only makes one foolish. Create what's in your own mind and blog the thoughts that birth from your hearts. Happy blogging!
It would be different if your words were in quotation marks giving you the credit. Then, by quoting you, it would show you have touched someone. Buy to just steal... I swear, some people.
